I'm not sure why this mix isn't in the archive... but can anyone else recall an Essential Selection with Pete Tong where Tiesto had the 25-30mins guestmix at the end of the show??

I do not know of this Essential Selection show. Wonder if it’s available on YouTube.
I have the slynus vinyl with uncle on, sure it is a blue label on the record but does not have the track names on it.

this side... it must be easy to spot that energy of 2001-2002 tiesto

the broadcast was guest spot on Tong Essential Selection, last 25mins or so of his show... probably very late 2001 - like late Nov/Dec.
from what i remember Very Happy

i had it on cassette tape, and it was played a lot. That Slynus track really stood out. As i wrote last year it did appear in a few other sets too.

I don't have much proof, but the transition from Why? -> Sunshine is about as energy sapping as a DJ could mix it, without keeping any flow or energy... i mean, this was when T could still mix fluidly so..

I agree with you, I believe Dirty Vegas is Tiësto.
Why? Is not a bad track I just came across it in my collection and thought this rings a bell but couldn’t remember it. Thanks for clarifying it mate.

It's worthy Tiesto playlist - i remember it on Touche too, a label he regularly used. But it also is re-released on Bonzai Classics.
Back in the days when those sort of filler tracks were far more interesting Very Happy
