Tiësto & Mathame - Id
yes please! (hope there's an instrumental version), little bit Pulverturm vibes with that one-note stab

Shorty Party (Tiesto Remix)
i can see it being used in Guantanamo, something like white noise torture, would soon turn anyone who is not talking

Drifting
OK i take it back, 1x track on Drive is worthy... just wait for the lawsuit from Bicep.. cos it's ripped off from Glue.

Actually i quite like this set... Embarassed

Not bad hour... some new tunes, some "classics" and almost no Adagio/Lethal stuff Smile I never resist listening to Paradise and Chasing Cars tunes

Gotta relisten again this week. Laughing

btw, 1001 labelling now puts Tiesto in "electro pop" only just noticed this, guess it is true.. but wow.

Still stand by this set is pretty hard by today's standards, good effort and a solid progression from start to finish. Well done.

Funny seeing someone comment on the Drifting rip, saying Fred Again or Tiesto Again Laughing

I’m hearing Norefjell in that Mathame one.

I dont get that Fred Again comment, i do hear Bicep Glue all over that Drifting though.

Norefjell - yeah, thats another good fit, anything with a stabby one-note melody.. a good concept, which still works when done well, but that vocal though Very Happy

/edit - aha ok so apparently Bicep style was first copied by Fred Again... to be honest, i have no idea of any of the tracks of Fred Again at all. that Turn Off The Lights, made me turn off the stereo.

It might be a saying now.. ah Fred AGAIN. Liked Lights tho, used it in my Matthew mix combined with Salt-N-Pepa. I’d have to check Drifting properly.

Edit: Yep, Glue. Drifting away with all the styles more like.

can they leave in some skipping beats and clashing vocals to try to convince it not pre-recorded? or?
