As in more of a “darker” side of ASOT rather than something like J00F. Good times ! I agree that he was on form in early 00s with dark proggy stuff when he went more trancier he lost any kind of unique signature that had been until that point. I've enjoyed some of the mixes in recent years though, with a darker techy edge. He just came out with the newest a few weeks ago. It's just random spotify shuffle background music. Usually there are 2-3 decent (but not great) tracks in these comps. But the same was with Durand so... at least Durand's first 3 or 4 attempts had some barely acceptable music, but my guess is because of the music at the time was still before fully tiktok rather than his talent.
